Metabolomics
We use high-throughput analytical techniques and bioinformatics to gain a systems-level understanding of metabolism.

Systems and Synthetic Biology
We develop techniques with synthetic biology to control metabolism.

Metabolic Engineering
We investigate the dynamics and regulation of metabolism to create new methods to control metabolism.

We work with a variety of model systems (yeast, E. coli, cancer and stem cells) to develop novel techniques for both biomedical and biotechnological (biofuels) applications.
